Bronson Arroyo tossed a complete game shutout and right fielder Vladimir
Guerrero had 4 hits and 3 RBI at Fiscalini Field as the Torrington
Trumpeteers embarrassed the Lafontaine Park Diamonds by the lopsided score of
11 to 0.

Guerrero enjoyed a fine evening at the plate.  He popped a two-run clout over
the fence (his 3rd of the season) in the 1st inning, slapped a single plating
a run in the 3rd inning, doubled in the 5th inning and singled in the 8th
inning.  Torrington banged out 15 on the night.  

Arroyo(3-0) went the distance for the shutout. Matt Morris(0-1) suffered the
loss.  He was touched for 3 homeruns in his 8 innings of work.
