Roger Clemens carried a no-hitter into the 8th inning at Citizen's Bank Park
as the Annadale Anteaters beat the Northwoods Moose by the count of 7 to
0.

Clemens(2-0) was tremendous on the mound for Annadale.  He gave up just 1 hit
and 2 walks in 8 innings.  Clemens mowed down 13 Northwoods batters seeing
his ERA drop from 1.80 to 1.17.  The right-handed Clemens had his no-hit bid
broken up by Vinny Castilla who doubled with one out in the 8th inning.
Overall Annadale out-hit Northwoods 13 to 2.  

Ben Sheets(0-1) was charged with the loss.  'He was really impressive today,'
Sheets said of his counterpart.  'Our guys were just swinging at air.'
